Happy Friday!
We have successfully completed the first week of school, which consisted of three exciting days filled with learning, laughter, and new friendships. As we move forward, please remember that open communication between parents and the school is key to a successful educational journey.
Thank you to everyone for following the drop-off and pick-up routine. It's important that we continue to work together to make this part of our day run as smoothly as possible. It appears that the light on the corner has not slowed down the flow of traffic. For the parents walking up to pick-up your children, I appreciate that you are waiting on either side of the stairs. Our sidewalk is very narrow, and we need to keep it as open as possible. Many of you have talked with your child so they know to either look for you by room 5 or by the stairs/marquee, and this has been very helpful. Thank you so much!
I am very happy to share that our attendance has been great this week! Students are arriving to school between 7 :55 and 8:05 giving them plenty of time to get to class before the 8:10 tardy bell rings. What an amazing way to start the year!
Required Forms
Thank you to everyone who has filled out your required forms on Parent Connections. If you have not done so yet, please login to Parent Connection and complete your Required Forms. Once you are logged in, you will see in the upper right corner a link in RED saying "Required Forms." Make sure they all say "Completed" before you log out.
Reminder: There is no school on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. This holiday honors the hard work and dedication of the American labor movement and the contributions of workers to the strength and prosperity of our nation.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend, and we look forward to an amazing year ahead!
