Accessibility Loading and Unloading Area
To ensure the safety of all students during drop-off/pick-up, Oakmont has designated the area located on the southeast side of Green Street past the stairs/ramp as a loading zone for individuals with disabilities, including neurodiverse students. No disabled parking placard is necessary to use this area. The new sign βDisabled Loading Zone Beyond This Point,β indicates where the designated area begins. If your student does not require accommodation, please refrain from using this area. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
To keep this accessibility loading zone available for all who need it, we ask that you depart immediately after your child is safely on campus. Waiting in this zone until the bell rings is not permitted. Please remember to access this loading zone from the regular car line by waiting in line until you reach the the accessibility zone. Once there, please pull as far forward as possible.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a safe and supportive environment for all our students. |

As part of CUSD's commitment to supporting all students, Nutrition Services will be offering grab-and-go meal options for students who are fasting during Ramadan March 3-28, 2025. These meals will be available for students to pick up after-school and consume later when they break their fast.
Please submit a Request for Meals Form if your child would like to receive these meals. The form along with heating instructions are posted on the Nutrition Services website under the Ramadan To-Go Meals tab.

March Interim Assessments
During March, students in grades 3-6 will take Interim Assessment Blocks (IAB) Performance Tasks in both English Language Arts and Math. These assessments are administered on the same platform as the California state test (CAASPP). IABs serve two important purposes: They provide valuable data to help us monitor student progress and guide instruction.
They allow students to practice and become familiar with the question types and testing format.
Please encourage your child to put forth their best effort each day, ask for help when needed, and take these assessments seriously. Every day is an opportunity for growth, and consistent effort will help them feel more confident and prepared |

At Oakmont, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive, equitable, and respectful environment where all students can thrive. The Anonymous Reporting Form allows students, staff, and families to report concerns anonymously about events that occur at school, including those related to bullying, discrimination, inequity, inappropriate behavior, or any other situation impacting student well-being. The link below will be included in each newsletter and will be posted in each classroom.
