Hello families,
This week, I want to give a big shout-out to our talented students in Ms. Giles and Mrs. Sevilla's classes! They put on a fantastic performance of Alice's Adventures with Idioms, bringing creativity, humor, and enthusiasm to the stage. Their hard work and dedication truly shined, and it was wonderful to see them bring language to life through acting. A huge thank you to the teachers and everyone who supported this production—it was a performance to remember!
Our next round of rotations begin on February 24th, launching a five-week cycle of reading instruction. This round will focus on reading skills, reading comprehension, and responding to constructed response questions. This is one what that we meet our students where they are academically to support their growth.
Our APEX fundraiser has started! Skittles and Chicken Nugget, our APEX representatives, have been on campus each day leading lessons with the children on different qualities, playing games during recess, and hanging out during lunch. The Color run will take place this Wednesday! Tk-3rd grade students will run between 8:15 and 9:15 and grades 4th-6th will participate between 9:15-10:15.
