Hello families,
Our fourth graders went to The Living Desert for their biome field trip. They had an amazing time where they were able to look at the external structures of animals such as wallabies, camels, and cheetahs. They observed many different plants that are found only in the deserts. These field trips would not be possible without all the support from our families. Thank you for participating in our fundraisers and for making donations to our field trips.
You may have noticed a woodchip pile on the side of campus along College St. — it’s part of our exciting new composting program! With the help of Sustainable Claremont, we’re launching this initiative at lunch to reduce waste and promote sustainability on campus.
Thank you for your flexibility as we did rainy day dismissal on Wednesday. We know it is quite different than our normal routine, and you all adjusted so well to it! We will continue with the same process during inclement weather. We will be sure to send out a message prior to dismissal to let you know when dismissal will take place like this. If you did not get the phone call or text that went out on Friday notifying you of the pick up process yesterday, please call the office.
