Hello families,
Following Friday’s incident involving an individual near our campus, I want to reassure you that the situation was swiftly addressed. We continue to prioritize student safety and are reinforcing our protocols to ensure a secure environment for all. I want to thank our noon duty staff for being vigilant while supervising our students.
We have our first Bucket Filler Assembly on Friday, October 25th. During this assembly, each teacher will pick a student who has exemplified responsibility and another student who has exemplified kindness. We will recognize students who have filled up their first track card by running 25 miles. Finally, we will draw 5 random Bucket Filler slips that students have been earning all year. These students will get to eat lunch with me (on another day). It is very important to note, that only the parents/guardians of the students who are receiving a character award (responsibility and kindness) will be notified. If a child is getting a track award or a Bucket Filler award, their parents are not going to be notified by their teacher. Please ask your child if they ran 25 miles and turned in their card to Mrs. Cheryl in the office. Parents are welcome to attend the assembly regardless.
Assembly Times:
TK/K: 8:30
4th-6th: 9:30
1st-3rd: 10:30
