Welcome back, Oakmont families! We hope you had a restful and joyful winter break. As we return to school, we’re excited to kick off the new year with some fantastic events! We have our Equity for Oakmont meeting, TK/K Orientation, and our Winterfest night. Let’s make 2025 a year of growth, learning, and connection!

Book Fair

Our annual Book Fair is coming soon! Information was sent home with your child with information about the Book Fair eWallet. This will allow you to put money into an account that your child can use instead of bringing in cash. Cash is also accepted. Credit cards will be accepted on Wednesday, 1/22 at 1:00 pm (book fair will be open after school) and at Winterfest between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.

Anonymous Reporting

At Oakmont, we are committed to fostering a safe, supportive, equitable, and respectful environment where all students can thrive. The Anonymous Reporting Form allows students, staff, and families to report concerns anonymously about events that occur at school, including those related to bullying, discrimination, inequity, inappropriate behavior, or any other situation impacting student well-being. Cold and flu season is here. Thank you for finding the right balance of sending your child to school when healthy, and keeping them at home when they are sick.

Our student attendance showed a noticeable improvement this week, rising by 2.8% compared to the week before winter vacation. It's great to see students returning to school energized and ready to learn! Let's keep up the momentum and make attendance a priority for a successful new year.
